Hey! We, Sebastian and Christina, are siblings and founders of Closd .
With our practical & plant-based products made in Germany, we want to revolutionize the market for mobile phone accessories!
We have developed the first sustainable cell phone case with camera protection . With our Closd case you can reliably cover your front and main camera. You can also find the right cell phone straps in our shop so that you can simply hang your cell phone around your neck and have your hands free in everyday life.
Fair working conditions are important to us. To ensure this as a small startup, we only produce in Germany.
We also attach great importance to the sustainability of our products and use plant-based, petroleum-free, recyclable and biodegradable materials wherever possible. We communicate transparently which materials our products are made of.
Wie alles Begann
Es war 2021, als Christina während ihres Studiums im Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement die Idee hatte, funktionale Alltagsprodukte selbst zu entwerfen und herzustellen. Sebastian – Konstrukteur mit großer Leidenschaft fürs Tüfteln – war sofort begeistert. Gemeinsam haben wir erste Prototypen am 3D-Drucker gebaut, mit Biokunststoffen experimentiert und unseren allerersten Online-Shop gestartet.
Unsere ersten Produkte waren Handyhüllen – mit innovativem Kameraschutz und fair produziert. Bald kamen Handybänder und unsere kleine Halterung dazu, die heute unser Bestseller ist. Mittlerweile gehören auch Handytaschen für Schulen und Handyketten für liebevoll kuratierte Concept Stores zu unserem Sortiment – aber im Kern ist alles geblieben wie am Anfang:
Funktionalität, Fairness und Nachhaltigkeit werden bei jedem Schritt mitgedacht.
